Yoga is a wonderful way to stretch and activate our muscles, as well as a great way to properly learn to keep our body as well to breathe properly. The first yoga classes can be really stressful. You will feel physically and mentally unwilling, and this can very easily make you quit. But try not to do it and hold it to the very end, because later you will thank yourself. These 8 tips will help you if you are new to yoga practice and want to make progress.

¦Drink water

Drink enough water to keep your body hydrated.

¦But don’t drink too much

Drink water slowly, and not before the start with exercise. It can make you feel uncomfortable and make it harder for you to exercise.

¦Do not eat before the very beginning of exercise

Just like water, intake of food in the body before the very beginning of the hour can only make it difficult for you to exercise.

¦Go to the toilet before starting the exercise

Visit the toilet before starting to do the exercises so that you do not have unpleasant feelings during the exercises.

¦Watch out for the clothes

It is very important to feel comfortable during exercise, so choose a wardrobe that is light and made from cotton that will not make you feel very warm. An excellent example are cotton leggings or short trousers and a simple cotton jersey. You can also take a small towel in case you get too tired.

¦Make a break

If you get too tired and become hot, or feel pain in some part of your body, make a pause. Resume as much time as you need, because each organism is different, and with this physical effort the body needs to rest occasionally.

¦Be aware of the possibilities of your body

You should always be aware of how much your body can withstand. Often after we warm up and activate the muscles, we have the feeling that we can still workout. If you have been physically inactive for a longer period of time and you are a beginner in yoga, beware of the signs that your body will send you. Otherwise, you may get inflamed muscles, which can often be painful.

¦Have fun

Enjoy it during exercise and do not take it too seriously. Be grateful for the time and care that you have decided to devote to yourself.
